Domino

Domino is a wether Nigerian Dwarf/Alpine cross and a very special part of the HRND (Handley Ranch Nigerian Dwarf) herd. He was named after the Van Morrison song “Domino,” with his eye-catching markings providing a second bit of inspiration for his name.

Since he is a crossbred goat, Domino is not registered with the ADGA. That certainly hasn’t stopped him from having an important place here, though! Domino is our herd patriarch, a beloved family member, and, without question, the resident clown. He has a way of keeping everyone entertained and is always ready to make his presence known.

Sweet, incredibly intelligent, and full of personality, Domino is one of those goats who quickly becomes much more than just part of the herd. We purchased him from Michelle at Ponderosa Dairy Goat Ranch in Ridgeville, and we are so glad he found his way to our farm. He has truly earned his place as one of the special characters that makes HRND what it is.
