Tyberius

Tyberius is a purebred Nigerian Dwarf and a much-loved member of the HRND herd. His name was inspired by the “T” in James T. Kirk, giving this little guy a suitably distinguished name for his important role here on the farm.

We purchased Tyberius from Michelle at Ponderosa Dairy Goat Ranch in Ridgeville, and he quickly made himself right at home. Of all the goats we’ve met, Tyberius may be the most affectionate. He absolutely loves attention and will happily accept kisses, scratches, snuggles, and just about any other form of affection you’re willing to give him. A good head scratch is especially appreciated!

Tyberius will be an important part of our breeding program as we continue to build the HRND herd. We’re excited to pair him with our girls and see what kind of kids — and eventually milk — he helps bring to the farm. For now, though, he’s perfectly happy soaking up attention and reminding everyone that sometimes the best part of having goats is the cuddles!
